I put this track together about the same time that I was wrapping up production on the "Icky People" album. I woke up one morning and decided I needed to remix "Can't Get You Outta My Head" by Kylie Minogue. I had the chords and the bassline in my head all morning, so I drove to my camper studio, in the lumber yard on the other side of town and quickly laid down the parts before I could forget them. The problems came from trying to make Kylie's Vocals work with them. They never really sounded good with what I had done and so the track sat unfinished until I pulled Kylie's part and just wrote my own melody over it instead.

fun fact: the remix was going to feature an absurdly long pause with just Kylie's voice going "Stay Forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever....... " to the point where it wasn't funny anymore. I'm kind of glad I didn't really do that, but I kind of wish I did too.
