This track began in 2014 as a melody that I recorded in my van/home at Burning Man. At that time, I was playing live drums with Ableton loops that I would mix and match. Eventually the chords came up later, at the same Burning Man. I don't think I had tried combining the melody with the chords for another year or two. The drums came up after I spent a day recording noises in a reclaimed building materials yard. I don't remember what the sounds that became that drum part came from. I remember it being magical when I finally married the drums, chords, and melody. I tried hard to finish this track and release it with "Icky People", but I never really felt like it was done, so it sat unreleased for a couple more years. More tinkering and jamming led it to its current form and felt like a fitting closing for the album.
